Role Overview
We are looking for an Academic Content Writer – Social Studies to create engaging, curriculum-aligned content for school textbooks, workbooks, assessments, and teacher resources. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review Social Studies content for K–12 educational publications.
- Create lesson content, exercises, worksheets, assessments, and project activities.
- Ensure content aligns with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum requirements.
- Conduct research to maintain factual accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and subject experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in social sciences, Education, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in academic content writing, publishing, or teaching.
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Familiarity with school curricula and educational publishing standards.
Preferred
- Experience in textbook or educational content development.
- Knowledge of competency-based learning and assessment design.
